Gridshell Form Finding Jig

We started to look at alternate forms of form finding in addition to the traditional method explored by the other gridshell group. Looking into how we could produce a jig which could apply forces to both the top and the bottom of a basswood grid similarly to how a kangaroo grasshopper definition might work. The grid is held with fishing line which pulls on the grid creating the form and providing forces to both the top and the bottom of the wood gridshell.
