Rain Screen Progress

Initially, we had planned to create a grasshopper definition that required a rhino surface-reference in order to create geodesic planks. Now, after having to adjust the input surface over and over, we decided to generate the surface through grasshopper. In this method the base surface can be completely changed through a series of number-sliders.

Below is the grasshopper definition with some explanatory notes. There are still some things we need to work out. Most importantly: the generated surface needs to be baked + rebuilt in rhino before moving to ‘geodesic’ phase. This starts to defeat the purpose of generating the base surface in grasshopper. Does anyone know how to rebuild a surface in grasshopper??? Perhaps parameterize in some way?
